How to make DSN Based connection with the database? Print

With the HELM Control Panel,

1. Upload the database in the ""DB"" folder.


2. Login to the domain Hosting Control Panel. e.g. http://cp.yourdomainname.com
   
3. Click on icon labeled "Domains."
   


4. Click on your domain name.


5. Click on the icon labeled "ODBC DSNs".
   


6. Click on the button "Add New".
   


7. Select the database type and click the button "Next".
   


8. Provide the Data Source Name (DSN) and select the database file or provide the location of database and click "Next".
   


9. Complete the wizard. Your DSN is ready to use.
