Dear Valued Clients,

This is to inform you that Frontpage extensions have been obsoleted for many years. As a result, our datacenter has removed Frontpage Extensions from the Windows shared servers. You will no longer be able to use FrontPage Extension if your domain is hosted under 72.18.131.252 or 72.18.131.232 control panel.

Impact:

Customers who are using Frontpage, will not be able to use it anymore. As an alternate way, they should change to File Transfer Protocol (FTP). To publish your website using FTP, you will need FTP client software viz. FileZilla FTP client. Also, you will not be able to use FrontPage forms in your website.

How to create FTP account:

You can create FTP accounts from your control panel. Following are the exact steps:

[1] Login to your control panel from http://72.18.131.232 or http://72.18.131.252.
[2] Go to Domains -> Click on your domain name.
[3] Go to "FTP Accounts"

From here, you can manage your FTP users (add/edit/remove FTP users).

How to access FTP:

You will need FTP client software to publish your website. There are many free FTP client software via. FileZilla FTP client. You will need to specify following information in your FTP client:

FTP server port: 21
FTP Hostname: IP address or ftp.YOUR_DOMAIN
FTP Username
FTP user password

Please note that you will need to upload your web contents inside wwwroot. If you have any questions, feel free to submit a ticket from your billing area.

Sincerely,
